Knowledge Centre in Government Colleges in Rajasthan

A Concept Note

A project proposal for providing employment to graduates in colleges in the state. It is essential to bridge the gap between the student and opportunity for employment. It is the need of the hour to instill mind-mapping process in the student in this direction

 Primary Reasons

The main reason for the lack of growth of IT, ITES, hospitality and service industry etc in Rajasthan is the paucity of awareness and shortage of skilled personnel.

Absence of campus recruitments/industry interface in the colleges, which hampers the access to established institutions.

Majority of students are weak in communication skills, soft skills and several other applied skills, which are the requirements of the industry or the corporate world.

To achieve this goal, within a period of 1 year training can be imparted in a conducive learning environment.

Defining Goals

To ensure employment to graduates at the end of their degree course

To equip them to face competition and challenges in the global world

Aims

To open new avenues by providing career opportunities for the students who do not pursue higher studies after completion of graduation

Under earn while learn schemes, to impart different trainings with partners from various sectors

To increase the overall employability graph of the students in government/private colleges across the state

Beneficiaries

         Third year degree students

         Second year degree students

Also students pursuing Post-Graduation (if required)
